Start with the fault, then choose the location
A convenient location matters, but the vehicle and the work needed come first. Tell Ballarat Air & Mechanical whether the air is always warm, cools intermittently or has changed after previous repairs. We can then discuss whether an A/C regas assessment, a diagnostic appointment or workshop repair is the sensible next step.
When a mobile appointment may suit
A mobile visit may suit a vehicle at home, at work or in a yard around Ballarat, where access and working space are suitable. Send your suburb, the vehicle make, model and year, and the symptoms before arranging the visit. For a workplace or shared property, confirm permission to access the vehicle and work there. Mobile suitability and any travel charges are confirmed with the quote; they are not assumed to be included in the starting regas price.
When the Delacombe workshop is the practical choice
Our workshop is at 3/14 Concept Drive, Delacombe VIC 3356. A workshop appointment may be more suitable when the fault needs further investigation, parts replacement, more equipment or extra repair time. Contact us before arriving so we can discuss the vehicle, access and what you need done. A booking request is a preferred appointment until we confirm it.
What the $250 starting price means
A/C regas starts from $250. The final price depends on the vehicle, refrigerant and system requirements, and the condition of the air conditioning. A recharge does not repair a leak or a faulty component. We explain the recommended scope and price, and quote any repairs separately, before proceeding. Send the vehicle details instead of assuming every car or truck will cost the same.
Help us plan the appointment
Include these details with your enquiry so we can give you a useful response:
- Make, model and year, plus whether it is a car, ute, 4WD, truck or machine.
- What the A/C is doing and when you first noticed the problem.
- Any recent A/C repairs or previous regas, if known.
- Workshop or mobile preference, suburb and access details.
- Your preferred day and whether your timing is flexible.
